Anyone use dictation software for transcription

Hi all!

I'm trying to speed up my workflow a bit. I have a lot of interviews that I do and for archival purposes, it's useful for me to log the footage with what they say and place a marker at important points.

I know that transcription services exist but I was wonder wondering if anyone has used voice-to-text software (such as Nuance Dragon) to try to transcribe their interviews before? Has it worked well? If not, any recommendations? Any favorite transcription service?

Thanks!
David.

I have. Any iPhone will work. What I did for clarity sake....if its tracked well...you can just hold the iPhone close to the speaker and it works. It the audio has not been mixed yet.....just say it yourself and repeat the talent in small chunks. Then I had a text doc....and could go back over it 1 time just to tighten things up. Was very fast and works like a charm.

Precisely what I do, works great!
