Anyone try the Hollywood Ultra lite stabilizer?

I'm in the market for a stabilizer and saw the Hollywood ultra lite at the store today, it looked alot easier to setup as compared to the glidecam that was there. Has anyone had any experience with it?
Thanks ! ???

I've found a lot of those "glide" companies do not post clips. Even if they did, it would be done by a total expert tech and who knows if you could achieve the same mobility. If you've tried it in the store with the DVX and liked it, go for it.

on the other hand..
Thus, far, I have been a little disappointed by what's out there in terms of moderately affordable gliding..

sorry of no help, but better get one response, than feel ignored!

Don't be fooled that the Hollywood ultra lite seems easier to setup. Glidecam's are quite easy after you get accustomed to them.
I've never found this design of gimble to offer the control available to a traditional Glidecam style gimble....too difficult to control in some shoots.
In the long term, you're better off with a Glidecam type stabilizer.

Hi Stan. I have one. It certainly takes a lot of the shake out of walking shots but it takes much practice. It also is a pain to balance. It's small and disassembles to fit in your camera bag. You can tighten the gimbal and use it as a large handle as I did on a short film I shot in India.

I also live in Toronto so you can try mine if you like. For the money, I would put a little more in and get the DVrig Pro. It looks dorky in photos but works amazing!
