I ended up winning a formatt mattebox off ebay for $200. It wasn't really the one i had wanted but i didn't think i'd get it that cheaply, and honestly for the price i don't think i'll be too disappointed. But i don't like the fact it isn't rod mountable, i have the cavision rods and had been planning on getting a mountable box. Has anyone attempted some DIY work to make a formatt box mountable to rods?
