Anyone tried multiple preview ( field )monitors from AE?

I've got two field monitors: a Panasonic and a Marshall. They've both got SDI connections. So I guess in theory one should be able to connect these to a PC via any of the blackmagic SDI cards. I've noticed some of these cards have multiple SDI connections. So is it just a matter of connecting my studio monitors, setting them up properly and using them in After Effects? I'd be interested to see if both of them can be used at once in After Effects, to leave the cheap LCD screen for timeline and other panels.

Don't be offended at the lack of response. It's a specific question in a slow section of the forum.
You're better off contacting Blackmagic directly, but why wouldn't it work? The SDI card outputs SDI, the SDI monitor accepts SDI.

I suspect most of the time external preview monitors are used in Premiere or other NLE programs. But I guess you should be able to, since a lot of people are now using a field monitor AND a HDTV LCD screen in their editing suites, in addition to computer LCD screens. But my question refers to After Effects specifically.
