Anyone seen the LH2600W Prod. Monitor?

Anyone seen and is able to report on this new HD production monitor from Panny? Wondering if this will cut it for critical work in the edit suite (vs. a CRT).
 
Well, as long as it performs at least as well as the 17" Panasonic BT-LH1700W I have sitting here next to me, you ought to be golden. Then again, if you can afford that you can probably spring for an HD CRT which would be the cat's meow . . .

(I just hate the idea of spending more for the monitor than I did for the camera).
 
I'm accustomed to a calibrated CRT. Are you guys with the 1700 getting the performance neccessary for CC and whatnot?

The 1700 is probably the best looking image I've seen on LCD technology. Viewing angles are excellent and colour reproduction is also excellent. I've ditched my 14" Grade A Monitor as the 1700 is just brilliant and it has a much smaller footprint (bonus).
