I am a real stickler for NOTHING ever touching my glass - and as such I have always just carried all my filters around in the hard plastic containers they came in.
But alas, this is really starting to become unworkably inconvenient.
I bought one of those TIFFEN belt pouches, but after the Hoya Pro ND debacle of a year or two ago (where keeping them in filter pouches that touched the glass 'seemed' to be contributing to some really catastrophic degradation of the filter surfaces)... I have not dared to put my filters in anything that touches the glass.
I know there are some carriers that folks put super-expensive 4x4 filters in with no problems, so they must exist.
Can anyone make an experienced recommendation? This is for circular filters up to 83mm, but if the product is for 4x4's that's fine also.
