Anyone Out There with a Functioning LCDVF on a T3i?

The reason I ask is because I found this on the manufacturers blog:
"We have had some rare reports from Canon 600D/T3i users that have experienced unexpected shutdowns of camera's LCD screen while operating with LCDVF...."

In addition to that, a few comments on that blog entry state that the suggested fix provided above didn't work, and there is no response from the makers of the device. I have only been able to find a relatively very small amount of people complaining about the issue (I would think there are a lot of people out there that have attempted to pair the two) after searching for a while. Although, those people that I had found seemed pretty sure of the fact that the two don't work together. I feel like it's hard to be sure whether the company is just downplaying it for their sake, and it's more of a common problem, or if the fact that I'm not finding much on it is a positive return. I also searched for a while to see if I could find someone, anyone that can attest to a happy pairing of their T3i and LCDVF, but could find anybody.

I use a Carry Speed LCD Virefinder with two T3is with no problems, i use the magnetic mount and use it even with the LCD screen folded out.

You can see it in use in this test video i shot, check out 0:22, 0:37 and 4:56 till the end.

Thanks for that info.! I think you might have forgotten to include the link to your video though. Could you let me know where I can see that video?

Hehe sorry about that, i got a phone call in the middle of posting and posted it without the link.

here it is:

So, just an FYI for anyone coming across this thread, wondering the same thing that I was wondering... I took the leap and got the LCDVF to use on my T3i and... drum roll... It works fine. :)
