Anyone know what transition this is called?

I have been searching high and low and I think this transition is part of Motion from FCP.
Is there a plug in for any other editing system for this?
Can I do this in AE?

It's just light leaks (an artifact of shooting on film), you can find lots of examples (paid and free) from Google.

If you don't find what you need through light leaks look for "film clutter"....

I'll tell you what that transition is called... "Full Refund"... Well... actually we negotiated a deal with the bridal couple... but the initial demand was full refund... The light leaks were on the formals, and I had misset the Hasselblad film back, and there was a sideswiping light leak on all the formals... Hasselblad did have a 'safety interlock', but the back was on good enough for the interlock, but not good enough for light tight... so much for the interlock...

But heck, if you can sell it... how about moving to Alaska and sell refrigerators...

I can assure you we are quite good on refridgerators... Often refer to them as warming ovens.
