Anyone know this effect?

I dont know if you would consider this an effect but does anyone know how to do this?

It starts right in the beginning of the video. the 3 little boxes
 
Yes it's pretty easy. One of the first Premiere projects I did had a 9-box effect like that. Keep in mind that the title tool lines are simply an overlay on the top layer. That's how a clip can easily span two or more "boxes" by adjusting its size and cropping. I found making the lines with long narrow rectangles easier than with the Line tool.
