the only book ive found so far is" Video Camera Techniques" by gerald millerson, id like to find some other books and vids that deal with things like making objects look bigger or smaller then they are in reality, effects , camera settings , angles ect...

if you know of any, please list em!

Hollywood Camera Work is truly amazing.

Every second is rich with very valuable information. I might be able to sell you my copies once I finish watching them, if you'd like.

I don't think there is a word to truly describe how good they are. They're just like, beyond everything I've ever seen. I've never found anything that's come close. In fact I think I'm going to watch one of them again tomorrrow! Exciting! Everytime I watch it again I learn something new.

I have "Shot by Shot" and it's not bad. It seemed like it would be better than it ended up being. It is loaded with diagrams and examples. I did find a bunch of it fairly obvious, but if I hadn't already known alot of its content I probably would have felt I got more out of the book than I did.
And the appendix on converting floorplans to perspective drawings is great for complicated pre-production.

I bought it when I was out looking for "Grammar of the Film Language" by Daniel Arijon which was highly recommended.
