Anyone know if a film with Creative Commons music in it can be sold/distributed, etc?

I have been using a ton of Creative Commons music, from ccmixter.org and jamendo.com, among others, and it's the 'can be used for commercial purposes' variety, with credit given. Anyone have any experience with this type of music licensing and whether or not the film can be distributed or sold?
All the help is appreciated and feel free to move to appropriate section, if necessary.

If you're going to get a distribution deal then there's most likely room to have original music composed for your piece. Original music will prevent a lot of long term headaches and is really not that expensive.

Creative Commons offers a number of licensing options, without knowing which specific licenses you're talking about, nobody can tell you.

I can guarantee that without proper clearances & paperwork you won't be able to sell the film. I'd recommend that you speak to a music supervisor to help you sort it out.
