Use the DV Start/Stop detection for capturing in FCP?

You mean like start a new clip when capturing at a timecode break? When I installed FCP5 and you just do a raw capture it automatically breaks up each clip when your capturing.

That's what I thought...I decided to log it a clip at a time, even though it's a pain in the butt. Need P2 and HVX to make life easier!
