Anyone into this "MySpace.com" stuff?

My brother has been addicted to this thing lately and has got me intrested as well. You're never to old to try this stuff out but then agian most people on their are pretty young. So if you're "old" it might not look good checking out these young people. Anyway, I've actually tried it and I found 60% of my friends back in highschool. It's true, everyone and their grandma is up on this site.

So while DVXuser was down I was searching this myspace for some old homies.

This is currently a fad at my high school. I think im the only person who does not have it, and every other person does.

I've got an account, but I rarely go to the site unless someone sends me a message from there. I haven't spent enough time on there to understand the appeal.

I've got an account on there. There's a dvx group on there but not much activity in it. Most activity is in the 24p group.. I thought myspace was meaningless the first time I seen it but It's actually a cool way to interact with people who have mutual interests.

Oh man, SO MANY of my friends are on that thing. It drives me absolutely insane.

Why not simply interact with people in person?

(I say this beacuse they're all friends, who could see eachother, but spend time on that site.)

What's everyone bitching about? It's just another forum to find old friends, meet new people with similar interests and hang out in. It's kinda cool actually. I've met quite a few filmmakers through myspace and found some really old friends of mine from grade school. So...eat me.

Okay after checking it out I found like 10 of my friends up here in it......which is funny because they could all call each other. But sadly.....I'm starting to see the appeal

Hey man, theres nothing wrong with myspace. Plus I think its a good way to promote your films. That's exactlly what I will be using it for. Tell people when premiere dates, blah, blah.

Plus I also found an old crush! Thats too phucken funny! Dam, she still looks good. She never liked me because I was too agressive and I was not one of the popular guys. *****! :)

Toilet, you look JUST like this guy who was on the National Lampoon set today...was it you by any chance? Downtown, LA? We're you shooting stills for the film?

I have our band on there myspace.com/sfn and it is an awesome way to meet new fans, book shows, find places to stay while you're out on tour, etc. Really a good networking tool for anything. You can also find talent for your upcoming films on there. Tim.
