Anyone have the free time to just randomly shoot shorts for fun with no planning?

Stock photography is not dead. Tons of stock photography is used each day. I have a lot of photos I use for my books and covers. Stock video and photo can pay well if you do enough of it but as a profession I can't speak on that.

I dont even know what that means. It has taken a hit as a profession due to dropping prices due to the websites that take so many submissions that the supply has way overreached the demand. But that has nothing to do with digital capture. It has to do with the proliferation of cheap stock supply sites.
 
I'd say check out pixelflow.com! The site is outstanding and has the best pay out percentage out there.. Way cool.. I think the site launched at the last NAM show. So basically Im loading up as much content as I can before this site completley blows up. And plan on using this as my main platform for all my stock footage.
