hey! I'm kinda of panicking because I am have very little luck with finding music for this BMX movie I am putting out and will be aired at our local theatre..I have tried to contact producers and still nothing. This is a low low budget film and is about a local team trying to get exposure. Any body could help me out with some songs theyve done would be awesome! I would like electronica type stuff..but shoot what you got cause we might want it! thanks... Willing to pay now, wont be much but we can strike an agreement!

Free isn't likely to happen. Check out the library music available from SmartSound that goes with their SonicFire software. The software lets you adjust the tracks to fit your piece, manipulating length, mood, tempo, etc to get them sounding exactly like you want. You can buy the software by itself for under $100, I forget the exact price. In fact, they have a special offer right now where you buy 1 disk for $50 and the software is free. They have thousands of tracks in the collection and one of the best features is you can search the entire library and preview tracks online for free, then either buy the disks they're on or buy tracks individually and download them. You get access to a huge library of royalty free buyout music for a very minimal investment up front. If you buy tracks individually I think the license is around $20 ... you're not likely to find anthing cheaper worth having.

Check out these two album examples ...

Another source for good music with reasonable licensing fees is Magnatunes.con

I happen to be in a rock band with all original music, and depending on the content, I could give you the rights to one of our songs if you thought it would fit
