Anyone have experience with a Listec teleprompter?

[oxband]

After a week of intense research, I think I have settled on this Listec 17" teleprompter: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...Z_1717PT_Entry_level_VGA_Studio.html/mode/edu

Anyone have thoughts on Listec? I was going to buy from Prompter People but i read a few negative reviews online and that scared me off a bit.

I'm currently using a iPad as a teleprompter. I purchased this kit recently http://www.holdan.co.uk/Datavision/TelePrompters/i-Pad+Prompter#tab=description. It uses an i-Pad and a wired controller to control the scripts. Have you thought about going down this route ?

I'm also using an IPad prompter system. Way cheaper, works great, and you can run it from your IPhone on bluetooth.

400 bucks does the same thing, easy to transport and set up, what's not to like.
