Anyone get their Hewlett Crap-ard to worth with Dual Adapter?

I just got home with my HP laptop and try to get my adapter to work. The laptop dedects the adapter without a problem but no matter what I do the P2 cards are not detected.

I see from other threads there was a problem a few months ago. Just wondering if the issue with HP has been fixed.

I called up Duel Systems support but they always have the same guy working and he is completely clueless.

Still not fixed! I got so frustrated with them that I gave up on it. I sold my HP and just ordered a Dell....:embarasse (hopefully it will work with it)
HP/Compaq are one of the popular brand names and a lot of people have them...I can't believe Duel Systems they never tested their adapter with one of those laptops....

I have a new hp laptop too and just tried to copy files from the hvx via usb and IEE394, but it's giving me ridiculous times like 9 days to copy 6.5gb. My old desktop takes about 8 mins to copy a full 8gb card with usb. This is a 2 gig duo core 2.0 ghz notebook but it takes forever, anybody know why this could be?
