Anyone get Avid codecs to work on FCP MacIntel?

The Avid codecs are installed and work with QT but not with FCP. Did a reinstall and a reboot.

Supposedly Avid Codec is supported now with MacIntel FCP.

Any solutions / ideas?

I can't get Avid material into FCP without rendering at all and I am running FCP 6 which supports the Open Timeline. I guess it doesn't work. I ended just exporting Same as Source from Avid and made sure NOT to check "use Avid DV Codec."
