Anyone from UK using Brevis?

Hi there guys!

I am seriously wanting to invest in a groovy Brevis Adapter, but being from the UK i'm just wanting to know the kind of experience UK customers had -

For example what was your VAT and DUTY like and delivery etc?

I'm certainly sold with its technical functions (and relative ease of set up) I would have considered a lovely SG Pro (if it wasn't back ordered til 2010 lol)
 
We are working on bringing our lead times down guys :) There is a lead time to bring down lead times..hehe

We are hoping to move forward our current orders to ship sooner then we originally planned.
 
Yep just joking btw though mate, your obviously doing the best you can to meet demand :)

Anyway coooome on anyone from the UK with a brevis that can answer my quest!!!

But of course a Brevis is no small consolation its a great tool i hear as well, but paying custom & duty on it is a pain in the bum - so surely there is a uk guy that can tell me how much theirs costed up too.

(I was bitterly confused by the Duty website ;)

PS - I'd do a lot than mow the lawn ;) *wink* phwooaar
 
There's a surprisingly large collection of UK users out there. You might get a better answer for your questions if you post over at the Cinevate forum..but I'll give it a crack here. There is no duty on camera accessories into the UK, but VAT would apply to imports unless you are exempt. It's similar to the 6% GST that we have to deal with in Canada. We ship everything Fedex Express International (averages $80 to UK) which includes brokerage fees..so you would just expect VAT. Other than shipping, there are no charges/taxes collected or levied on this end, so costs are identical to a local purchase for you. Hope that helps :-)
 
Thats kinda embarassing really having an american tell me how my own countries duty system works haha but thanx mate!
