Hi!
I am a filmmaker, camera operator, AC, sound guy, and love to light stuff, and have no problem being a PA if at the end of the day I still get to be on set. I will pretty much do anything from pa to grip to DP to direct, long as I am on set I am a happy camper. Production is my favorite part of any project. I have done corporate videos, commercials, worked on full length movies, shorts, blah blah blah blah...... I just love to be on set and have a passion for creating visual art that conveys the desired message and emotions. I am currently in Ohio, and love my Cleveland filmmaking friends, but I am moving to Portland, Oregon and will arrive April 6. I was wondering if any members of this forum are also residents of that area. Is there like a Portland IndieClub or dose the Portland film commission (I assume they have one, if Cleveland has one I pretty much assume every one has one) hold mixers for people to network? I really want to get to know filmmakers in the area so I can help collaborate on projects. I am a working professional, but do not mind helping on independent for the love of film projects for food, as long as some day in the future you are willing to help me out, for food of course. I am new to this forum so I figured I would post this up and see what comes of it!
Ciao!
