I have to ship a lens from Canada to the UK for repair.
My lens is valued at $7000.00
I was told to use a 3rd party insurance broker that will cover transit in both directions.
Apparently its cheaper using equipment insurers for this purpose?!?
I was planning to ship my lens using Canada post.
Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on shipping valved gear over seas and back? Especially with insurance.
I found a few brokers online but they seem to have a $1000 value limit.
