Anyone else waiting to buy? (3-Axis/Brushless vs Steadicam)

I'm at an impasse - can't decide if I want to buy a steadicam flyer that I found or put the money towards one of these new fancy electronic systems. How are you all feeling about this?
 
I guess you have to try.

I got a gopro up and running last night on a DIY kit.

There are some good things.. and some bad ones

Seems like really it will stand or fall on an acceptable control interface

For 'steadicam shots' I think steadicam will be king for a while..
