Anyone else having problems with the LEX battery compartment?

The battery compartment on my LEX has two screws on the bottom holding them in, and they're not counter-sunk so it pushes the batteries up a bit making them uneven. So when I have batteries in it the little magnetic door wont close all the way and only 2 of the 4 magnets are touching. I'm worried I'm going to lose the cover. Does anyone else have this problem?

Call Letus, they will probably correct this. Mine does not have this issue and have not heard it from any other LEX users yet.

Mine has this issue too. I haven't gotten back to Letus about it yet. It's annoying, so I guess I probably should...

Count me into having the same problem. The door really only catches on 2 of the 4 magnets at any one time. Makes the door kinda snap/roll from 2 magnets to the other 2 if you push on the door to try and make it flush. Never had an issue with loosing the door but it does seem like a bit of a poor fit/finish for the product. Considering I carried my camera about 2km along a hiking trail with Letus attached/rails/tripod without a hitch I'd say it's still pretty solid.

Think I will take another look at the battery compartment and see if the screws can be tightened or replaced if for nothing other than aesthetics.
