Anyone else get annoyed by this?

Not sure if im alone on this one but I find it very corny when people use the first letter of there middle name in film credits. Anyone else find this to be a strange occurrence?

I don't find it annoying. I think it's just to disguingish between other first and last names, such our own Mark A. Johnson. I on the other hand do not have a middle name because I'mmmm special.

It's only half as annoying as people who start threads with vague titles giving no indication of the thread's subject.

Micheal Fox had to register his name with the actors guild, only to find another Micheal Fox already registered. And so to change his name, but keep it essentially the same, he decided to register Micheal J. Fox.

It's standard to do that and often why it's done. Either add an initial, you middle name, or change your name. I would chose the initial.

Plus it looks and sounds nice sometimes.

I go by my whole name professionally because:

1) I think it sounds a bit more catchy
2) People remember it more. Stands out. (people I work with call me "Ryan Patrick O'Hara" or "RPO" as if it were just one long first name.
3) I'm too proud of my irish heritage :P
4) I'm destined to be a anarchist assassin or something like that. Ever see the Conspiracy Theory?

I'm annoyed when people don't know the difference between "there", "their", and "they're."

Oh no guys, it's part of the Panasonic rebate program. I got my middle name along with Barry's book, a battery, and Magic Bullet.

HPX170 owners: Don't forget to send in your rebate form!

I hate people who use a second surname.......and by this I mean women.

Lose the maiden name or admit your hubby is a wus........two surnames is so pretentious, silly and vain.

There's a 'Karl Martin' in Canada who is a photographer, digital artist and designer.

Being the 'Karl Martin' doing design, digital work and photography in Los Angeles, I need my 'J' in the middle to differentiate us at first glance.

Don't you have another thread complaining about an actor that wants a fruit plate and a shrimp cocktail?

I thought your actor had a problem until I read this post. I spent my time trying to help you out. You now sound like a 3 year old in this thread. I go by both my first and middle names in real life. Just not here as you also have a screen name.

Here is a semi recent post that I hope will give you a break through.
