I currently have a brand new 27" iMac at work that is my main editing station and a 13" MacBook Air mainly for non-editing stuff. However, I don't have a home computer so when I do a freelance gig I end up editing at home on the MCA which is a huge pain.
That being said I'm looking at buying a refurb 21.5 iMac (2012) for editing at home. Is there anything that should cause concern for performance issues to do simple editing with Premiere CC and some color grading with Red Giant and Resolve? (color grading doesn't necessarily need to be realtime)
Ps. I can't justify buying a 27" iMac & to be honest at work I find myself trying to get as far away from my monitor as possible, ha.
