Anyone actually use Cinematics cine hood Lenses

I've read the articles about these and watch the videos about them and I've read the comments about how the other cine-mods out there are better, but I've yet to meet anyone or read anything about the actual usage of these lenses.

Based on the last vid they seem to be over-housing instead of re-housing at least for canon lenses, which interest me at least when it comes to the zooms. I was just wondering about their durability, like does stuff get loose or does the ring throw is off after a while or other such grievances. Or instead its actually a good buy. It kind of a justified charge to a client because it looks more "professional" than its actual look. So has anyone actually used them?

Any got any updates here? Both those links seem to pre-date the Sigma 18-35 & 50-100 which look to be a much better quality modification. They've added a manual aperture ring to both of them, which would suggest there's a bit more going on than simply gluing the housing over the top like they were doing with the older mods.
