Anybody with EOS mount using Nikon adapter?

I'm looking at buying a 35mm adapter. I have both EOS lenses and Nikon manual focus primes with aperture rings. I have an adapter on my Canon that lets me use the Nikon primes, but of course with stop-down metering. I'm wondering if it makes sense to buy a 35mm adapter with an EOS mount and use this Nikon adapter or if I should just buy the adapter with a Nikon mount since most of my old-school primes are Nikon.

I do use the EOS mount and the adapter for Nikon lenses. And then a few other lens as well. I have no problems with my adapters and my lenses hit infinity just fine. Also my DSLR is XTI 400d and shoot all lenses with adapter. In fact I dont own a single Canon lens, but I do own 25 primes and zooms of several different manufacter. I guess Im a true "Manual Focus" kind of guy, no AF's. I use olympus, leica, contax CZ, tamron, nikon, and takumars. My goal is to personally find/test all/best lens per focal length within my budget. Should be a fun life-long project.
