Anybody with a Mac have Element 3d?

I was about to buy Element 3d v2 until I noticed it said it doesn’t support Intel GPU’s. Isn’t that pretty much all Macs?


I’m on an iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7, 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB — is this compatible?

I think you're confusing CPU's with GPU's. Yes all current Macs have Intel CPU's but not all have Intel GPU's. Yours has an NVIDIA GPU. So if that's the only restriction, I'd say it's compatible.

I upgraded recently to Elelment 3d and use it on a daily basis (Mac Pro, latest AE), works just fine - love it.

Anybody know where I can get realistic 3d obj models? Looking for mostly robots and space craft at the moment. I heard about turbosquid.com and it seems useful.

Do the models need to be rigged in order to move individual parts? Also what type of specs should they be if I want to use textures and UV maps inside of element 3d?
