Anybody using Premiere Creative Cloud?

At the end of each clip, once I put it on the timeline of a sequence, there's a weird wipe effect that's about a frame or half frame. Has anybody else experienced this? Here's the last frame of a music video I'm editing where you can see the wipe taking effect

Are you talking about the end of media/sequence indicator?

Is that what it is? I haven't exported anything out of it yet since I just upgraded from CS5. Will that not show up after exporting? I didn't have this in CS5

It will not show up.

Yup that's normal in CC. It does not show up after render so nothing to worry about.

What is the thought behind it?

I am willing to be convinced its helpful in anyway but in my experience ...its a PITA !
