Hi all:
I'm about to buy an inexpensive tripod, and it's down to the D&S 7518 with FM18 head, or one of the Weifeng 717 incarnations. Has anybody used either of these heads with the XHA1s? I've seen the FM18 and liked it, but have read conflicting things about whether or not it works well with the size and shape of the XHA1s. Haven't seen the Weifeng in the flesh, but it seems to be pretty well regarded.
And yes, I know, a more expensive tripod would be better. Please, I don't need to hear that. I need to get a serviceable tripod now, my budget (as it is) makes these two tripods the best choices for me, and I can't wait until I'm able to afford something better.
