Anybody used this tripod ??

It doesn't look like much. You'd be better off going with one of the "name" tripods. You'll be happier in the end. Sure $269 sounds attractive... but that's all you're going to get. $269 worth of tripod. Take a look at Vinten, Sachtler and Cartoni. Those are real tripods that will serve you much better and longer.

Ya - you get what you pay for in tripods, it is one area not to skimp in. Look for something used if you have to, but don't cheap out or you will just regret it.

I purchased an older Miller 20 for not much more than that....You can buy a used GOOD tripod for the price of a cheap NEW one. Tripods really dont break like other things, so you can get a good bang for your buck. I would go for at least a 15 pd fluid head, IMHO. It less likely to be knocked over (with your camera on it) by mistake...
