Anybody can reccomend/or not - using Acid Pro to record sounds from Midi Keyboard? I have two of those midi keyboards and wonder if should buy Acid Pro?
Or maybe there are better software than Acid Pro?

Thanks,
Voytek

When you say Midi keyboards, do you mean they are for triggering only, or are they full synths that also have Midi outs? Acid is a decent remixing program, as long as you have loops that are finished and ready for it. If you are looking for a program to both record and supply the sounds to be triggered, look into Cubase. Reason is cool too. As long as you can use VST instruments (I don't know that ACID can) you dont even need sounds on your keyboards.

Also, software is only part of the answer. if you plan on using your computer to record and create music, you need to look into a sound card to do that as well. Plenty of info here on those kinds of cards, if you wanna search.

I would not recomend ACID as a recording program. That is not its intended use. However it can be used as a sequencer in addition to creating loop based music. It has pretty good MIDI support actually and if you are a MIDI savy person you could get some great results. However if you truly need to record audio, ACID will be quite frustrating, it can do it, but that is not it main function.
