Anybody know what an executive summary is

Executive summary of what? Any lengthy report can (and frequently does) have an Executive Summary, which is basically a one- or two-page summation of what's in the next hundred pages. Perhaps they're referring to an executive summary of your film's business plan? If so, you can't write an exec summary until you've written the whole plan first.
