I'm building a beamsplitter rig for stereoscopic filming. I got it all down on google sketchup, but then I realized I could built it from T-slotted aluminum framing. But I have no idea where to get that stuff for not so much. Preferebly in Europe since I live in Finland, shipping's gonna kill me anyway...
My idea is to use T-slotted aluminum for the framing and then use "a mini version of gliderdolly" (linear motion) in between the frame, controlled by a micrometer for the interaxial distance adjustment.
That stuff looks wonderful for everything, now I just have to find a good supplier
