Anybody here ever use VNC for remote video editing?

I'd love to be able to take my laptop somewhere and log in to my comp at home and edit remotely via the internet connection. Anybody ever do anything like this? I've used VNC programs for other stuff but always assumed I wouldn't get a decent frame rate or color quality.

What do you guys use? Splashtop? Team Viewer? Log Me in?

I found VNC too choppy even on local networks, whereas the Mac screen share works pretty well ;)

I wouldn't consider doing anything even remotely serious over the internet until things like Adobe Anywhere are released, and even then I'd have to see it with my own eyes !

I've done software development (keystrokes) over screen scrapers like VNC and Remote Desktop with success but I don't think it's possible to edit. The video is just too choppy. Adobe anywhere looks pretty interesting though
