Anybody have Final Draft 6 to sell?

I am looking for a cheap copy of Final Draft 6 to buy (or just give away??), maybe if one of you writers upgraded to a newer version, etc. Seems that FD6 runs pretty good in Linux using Wine and I really am trying to find a way to return to Linux, I detest my deal with the Devil (MS-Windows) so as to run my Windows software (I love Windows apps but the operating system is another story).

Thus I've been doing some research on Windows apps I could run in Linux using Wine. Anybody have a copy of FD6 looking to sell cheap (or maybe give me for the cost of shipping?) if you are upgrading or upgraded to FD7, etc? Would be greatly appreciated. (I am not really interested in using Celtx, but I guess I would if I had to).

Just as an alternative, you could use Celtx. Does a lot of the same stuff and there's a Linux version

I prefer not to use Celtx (as mentioned in my original post). The Celtx/FinalDraft/MovieMagic debate has been discussed elsewhere on dvxuser.com, I will leave that for another discussion thread. I already own Movie Magic actually, but I am looking for a non-celtx package such as FD to run under Wine in Linux (Movie Magic will not run in Linux under Wine, I tried). I am on a quest to return to Linux, I hate the Windows operating system including its GUI, 3GB memory limit unless you shell out the $$$ for the 64 bit versions, instability, etc.., so much don't even get me going. Yeah I know Mac OS X is unix based, but I have reasons for not going the Mac route either.

But I do like many software apps written for Windows, just looking for ways to run them inside Linux which often means getting hold of older versions of software that have gold or platinium compatibility ratings for working with Wine (Wine allows the installation of Windows software in Linux with varying levels of functionality).

As a side note-- here is the Linux distribution I am installing to a drive on my PC as I type this-- it is called ArtistX, a specialized flavor of Ubuntu Linux, a live DVD (boots from DVD or can be installed off DVD) chock full of apps ready to go for artists-- audio editors, Cinelerra video editor, image editors, etc.

I am excited to give it a try, and one of the first things I want to do is see if I can get a screenwriting program like Final Draft or other working using Wine.

Randall--

YOU can have my FD6, if you'd like, FREE of charge. I upgraded long ago and no longer need it.
