Anybody editing on Macbook Pro 2.0?

I just got my new Macbook Pro and I have the software update for fcp studio. I'm heading on the road for few days and wanted to see if you thought I could get by with the 512 ram it came with for a few days (if i run it as the only app) as i'd rather not buy the extra ram before i leave? or will it crash every time I render? anyone have experience?

Working on a Macbook Pro but it's got the 2gbs of ram... sorry can't say about 512.

I've got 2gb in here now but I made do with 512 for a few weeks. I think you should be fine.

I'm editing on a Macbook with 1 gig of ram. Works great. Before I bought the Macbook, I was editing on an iMac 800Mhz with 512 ram and never had a problem.
