Any way to use small 50w halogen bulbs?

I was thinking for a music video I would like to have some pinpoints of light behind the band in one scene, and those little halogen bulbs (like you see in Ikea track lighting) would work great for this. Does anyone know of any good small fixtures to use these? All I can find are ceiling lamps and track lighting, but if there were little fixtures (like clamp lights or something similar) that would be awesome.

Has anyone else done this, and how did you put it together?

How wide do you want your shot to be? How much space do you want between the bulbs? How in focus do you want the points of light to be?

If you wanted just a bunch of lights that are very out of focus behind them, you could just do christmas lights strung tight across two posts. If you want it more uniform though, maybe you could just get a bunch of sockets and make a rig using some 10 ft pieces of 2x4.
