Any way to remove shine on face in FCP?

I shot an interview with a guy who was a little shiny and I'd like to try and dry him out in post as much as possible. Are there any filters I can use to minimize that?

It depends on what platform you're on. In most advanced color correction software, if it's not too bad, you can reduce it by using a key and a mask to isolate the area and then force some color into it.

That's the first thing I tried. I was able to isolate some of the shine, lower the brightness and saturate a bit to blend better. Still not great.

I'm thinking of trying Magic Bullet Mojo to fix some of the skin tones. I'll see if that does anything.
