Any way to remove light strobing from indoor lighting?

I used an NTSC camera to shoot some 30p footage in Britain, and I tried to keep them to as few as possible, but some of the shots have a subtle strobing due to the lights running at 50Hz and not syncing with the 30fps.

Is there any method for removing, or reducing the strobing effect?

/edit: I'm using Final Cut Pro by the way.

This could have been handled easily when shooting, in post not so much. This question could probably be answered much more intelligently in the post section.

okay, i've asked for it to be moved to post production.

Just out of curiosity, how would you have "easily" handled it when shooting? All I could think to do at the time was try and direct the sunlight indoors and switch off all the lights. I didn't have a mode on my camera to match the framerate. I don't know what else I could have done. But I'd like to know for next time.

If you just play with your shutter angle, you should have been able to find something that would have gotten rid of it.

what about a 1/50 shutter?
Good idea, didn't think of that. Oh well, it's too late for me now. It didn't end up looking too bad once it reached youtube though.

I managed to subdue the problem by lowering contrast in post, but I discovered there is a deflicker plugin from foundry for this problem, where you can download the demo if you're desperate- http://www.thefoundry.co.uk

I couldn't use the plugin as it was taking foreverrrr to render on my G4 PowerBook, but posted here for the sake of future google searches. :) Always try to get it right when filming though! It's unfortunate my little LCD didn't show the flickering until I got the footage on my computer.
