Any way to Keyframe the speed of a clip?

Maybe this question has been rised before, but anyway i´m gonna make it.

Yes, this cute effect of speed down a clip and then slowly recover it´s normal play time. I´ve seen the Combustion videos in their webpage and it looks it can do it, and a thousand things more, i´m amazed by it. But it´s rather expensive.

So, is there a way of doing it in FCP? Thanks for the answers, if any...

Yes this has been discussed here before. Do a search or better yet go to the help menu and search for Time Remap. Time Remap Keyframes will step through the details.

Basics: Bring up clip, click on Motion tab, expand Time Remap arrow at bottom. Type in amount of speed up/slow down. If you want to change speeds then set to variable speed .

Scott Thanks for point me in the right direction! My problem is, i didn´t knew that this effect name was Time remap (i consider my english in a not very bad level, but some things just scape...). I mean, i´m learning alone since i got it in March, and it´s taking me some time to realize what it can be done!

I´ve been playing with it and it´s great! Again thanks!

Soulfabric, i wached Joe´s and have some interesting things, but i don´t know, the time blender looks quite the same (right now, maybe because i just have discovered it), and as i´m learning and not messing anything important yet i will wait for plug-ins adding a little bit, but that was an interesting place to look too, cheers to you too!

And for the after effects thing, well, my sista is getting in the 3d max, and i falled in love with combustion, i hope to learn it soon enough! Then i read ,maybe here, that Adobe is playing bad games with it´s register thing (asking in middle of forest and with no internet connection anywhere...). It´s supported by everything i know, but i rather go other way. Anyway, i would like to be ´shaking´.
