any way to customize AE keyboard shortcuts???

Just wondering if there's any way I can customize some keyboard shortcuts for After Effects.

For example: instead of ⌥⇧⌘Y for "New Null" or ⌥⇧⌘C for "New Camera" I would rather have my own keyboard shortcut that allows me to use only two as opposed to four keys on the keyboard.

Does this require a script and if so, which one or where can I get hold of one?

Try KeyED Up or look up aescripts.com. I'm sure I have or have come across something that allows you to do that
