Oleg, you have such a wonderful way of giving advice ;)

...an announcement system for tragedies at a nursing home?.............this is one the best application evaluations I've read in a long time. :)

Will It work for a LAV and a Boom instead of going right into my camera?

One thing that jumps out is the mic phantom power is labled "24v"which means it doesn't provide enough power for many mics.

All of its inputs are summed to mono on the main outputs, only consumer line level stereo inputs of channel 3 & 4 appear to be sent to the stereo outputs.

You don't want to mix a lav and a boom anyway - if you're going to use both you need to keep them on separate channels. Mixing them is a recipe for disaster as the talent's voice will be picked up by the two mics at different times due to the difference in their distance from the speaker's mouth. Mixing them will lead to reverb and comb filtering effects.

Why not google "Galaxy Audio" and look at the user instruction pamphlet. http://www.galaxyaudio.com/JIBMM.jsp

Personally, I can think of a few uses for something like that but replacing a real mixer between mics and camera ain't on the list. I wouldn't waste my money.
