Any skilled AE people hire?

[Patryk_Rebisz]

What would be the best place to look for skilled AE people for a project i'm working on involving basic animation?

In NYC, take a look at www.WorkingNotWorking.com
They've got a lot of really talented people, but it's not a Craigslist kind of "no pay but I'll give you credit and a sandwich" kind of place. You'll pay going day rate, but you'll get good people. If you're hiring for a one time gig, you don't have to pay the monthly subscription price, just $99 for three days.

If you don't need anything involving CGI (basic motion graphics and compositing), I'm looking for freelance work and to network:

I can't say what you define as skilled, but if you're interrested, shoot me a pm or email to office at stefanhuberfilms dot at
you can find some work on my vimeo page...

i can understand if you're searching for someone locally though

Edit: lol that actually doesn't answer your question... dvxuser is a good place to start IMO, i'd try to find someone who you can work with now and also for future projects, having the right craft who you can rely on is super important to me.
