You know...those knock offs!? I hope so. Somewhere around the 500-1000 max range would be nice, and if cheaper even better!
 
Maybe, maybe not. So few anamorphic solutions deliver a sufficiently sharp image...and perhaps unsurprisingly price correlates pretty strongly with those that do.
 
The only two companies I have heard of developing new affordable Anamorphic adapters is Letus and SLR Magic. If you search google you can find examples of each as they are in the hands of testers at the moment.
