Any recomendations on a $200 camcorder (Mini DV-for editing)

I've been reading the horror stories about burning out your firewire output. lI was wondering if theres a hands down best Mini DV camcorder out there. I look at the line-up at Best Buy and the Canon and JVC looked like the sturdiest. Thanks
 
For $200? I'm not sure there's a camera on the market in your price range that's "hands down" best at anything... I'm pretty sure the least expensive camera that's commonly discussed on DVXuser is Canon's HV20/30, at about $600 street.

And, it's a great camera. Lots of info hereabouts, check it out under the DVXuser/Canon boards.
