Panasonic AGMC100G Unidirectional XLR Microphone for AG-DVX100
I shoot with the dvx 100 b mostly action sports, but random weddings, promotional, etc... This mic is just a little extra $ when I buy the century wide angle .7 from a guy I met.
HOW DOES THIS MIC SOUND IF ANYONE HAS USED IT?
 
you can buy it and then dislike it 2
noisy , bad sound , coloration , hudge money for nothing
sorry pal , i have mics which cost more then your camera as i live from my ears.

Do you really need more information than Oleg's succinct review?

Well, for starters, there doesn't seem to be any useful technical information available on it even on Panasonic's website. The best I could find was a signal to noise ratio of "greater than 60 dB". This in itself is a deal-breaker, since anything you record with it will be nice and noisey, regardless of what's in the rest of your signal chain.

Everything about this mic screams "junk." The body is entirely plastic, for goodness sake! The included foam windscreen is probably worth more than the mic itself. The "under $200 shotgun mic" market includes some of the worst junk-mics on the market, but even in that sordid company this mic sets a new low.
 
You can do alot better for the money - the ntg-1 isnt the greatest but I'd take it in a heartbeat over this one... Plan on good sound costing at least as much as good video.
