Furthermore .
Any impressions on mini dv projects at AFM and how they are doing?
Not looking for a big study just impressions on hot subjects , what is or seems hot
and what is not hot etc
Thanks

The market was a bit slow this year. Not as many buyers the sellers were saying as it was right after MIP (another market in Milan i believe). They hope that things will get scheduled better. Lots of people in the lobby as usually hawking there wares as well. Lots of DV projects from the smaller sales agents, some looked really good! Creature features and horror were big sellers. Anything with stars or named talent.

Cheers, Dave

Nice web site David!!!
Thanks for the update .
And you appear to be in the thick of things too.!!!!
That is good !!!
I am trying to put together cash flow lines
and expected estimates on presale advance for domestic
and foriegn all
marketing windows.......theatrical cable payper view dvd .video cassett ,tv , syndicated , in flight prisons
in the nexrt two months .
I have not done this kind of study since 1990 and it assumes of course a picture with "legs" a good picture poss action adventure or mystery or horror.
My only other update was a few years ago from Peter Bart who mentioned that alot of expected presale cash that was domestic has shifted to foriegn territory .
So thanks again for you concise reply and any refrence or links as to where I should start my long study would be appreciated .
Cheers and Beers
