any Orbit Dolly users?

Considering investing in a Digital Juice Orbit Dolly. Looks like a solid and versatile piece of kit. Can anyone reading this who might either have used one or owns one comment on its use?

In particular, with the stock wheels and 3/4 or 1" PVC tubing, how smooth are the dolly moves?

Is the optional (and expensive) Flex Track+ Wheel system worth it?

ditto for the optional pneumatic tires..

Is the lack of secure connection to your tripod a problem?
 
I'm curious about the DJ Orbit Dolly too, as they often have re-furbished sales where the Orbit + All Accessories can be bought for about $1K.
