Any of you still photography fans?

Re: Any of you still photography fans?

my 10d was stolen a few months back with a **** load of addons. Im probly going to pick up a 20d soon, not sure when though, debating whats more important, laptop or 20d.

DvPixl, that leica digicam is one sexy beast. a friend has one and it sure is nice. i would buy one i a second if it had interchangable lenses.

Is anyone using the Pentax 67II 6x7 Medium format camera? I'm thinking about getting one soon, though I highly doubt anyone has one around here.

Re: Any of you still photography fans?

I have used the Pentax 67 but I own the 645. The 67 is a nice camera, however i prefer the 645 for the way it is setup. However, the 67 does have a nice big negative to work with. I find myself shooting a lot of vertically taken panoramics with my 645 and stitching in photoshop, something that would be much easier with the larger negative of the 67. I know that you can also use the 67 lenses on the 645, with an adapter, however, I am not sure the other way around.

Re: Any of you still photography fans?

I've done commercial photography for several years and just recently sold my Omega 4x5 view camera and accessories. I also sold my Bronica ETR (6x4.5cm) with (2) 120 backs, Polaroid back, AE Prism Finder and my two complete Pentax 35mm systems.

I just shot a job for John Deere in Houston on a friend's Hassleblad and it makes me want one... again.

Now, I'm left with my Canon 10D and three strobe packages complete with softboxes, umbrellas, etc.

Taking family portraits, etc. with this combination is so E-Z.
